What is Life Style Management or Concierge Service?
Lifestyle Management Companies and Personal Concierge Services perform errands and a variety of other tasks on behalf of its customers. Virtually any task that does not require the customer's presence can be performed on their behalf. This includes tasks such as grocery shopping, laundry, reservations, event planning, and much more. A concierge is your "To do list Specialist" for the individuals who need extra hours in the day. We manage your lifestyle, not matter how busy you are.

How does a Concierge Service work?
Just one call can make it all happen for you. Contact us and we will make sure to ask all the right questions, to know exactly what you want or need. From there, it’s easy, you sit back and relax and let us do the work for you. Through our vast network of contacts, vendors, and service providers, we will research, reserve, and deliver your requests in a timely manner.

How can a concierge help me?
We assist you with your everyday tasks and errands, to plan a dinner party or your child’s birthday celebration. We are here to help you with both big and small tasks – just call on us and we’ll help you organize, streamline and balance your life.

How much does it cost to become a GFAD Member?
Becoming a member of the GFAD family is free. You can open a Concierge Account or simply pick from our services as needed on an A La Carte basis. The cost of services is based on your individual needs. Take a look at our Menu of Services for a general idea of our pricing and then call us and we will help you decide what will work best for your Lifestyle.

Do I have to be a Member to use GFAD services?
You do not need to be a member to utilize GFAD services however, we do ask that all of our clients complete our application in order to allow us to best serve you. VIP Memberships are available and offer you more flexibility and discounts not applied to Concierge Accounts or A La Carte services.

How can GFAD perform so many services?
The services we list are those that we perform ourselves as well as those we facilitate getting done. Many service requests are handled directly by GFAD service professionals. Other requests are handled by the company you specify or by GFAD service partners. For example, if you need to have clothing Dry Cleaned, you have the option to have it done by your preferred Dry Cleaner or else we will bring it to a Dry Cleaner GFAD uses as a service partner.

Do I have to make a long-term commitment?
There are no long-term commitments as a GFAD member. Currently we have three types of Service Plans that you can chose from. GFAD VIP Membership, Concierge Account or A La Carte services. You decide what works best for your lifestyle. You can change from one plan to the other at any time and there are no contracts to sign, just service agreements that you can cancel or change at any time.

Does GFAD handle same day requests?
We will do our very best to fulfill any same day service requests but we can't always guarantee their completion. We ask that you try to provide us with at least 24 hours notice for all service requests to help us better serve you.

Does GFAD provide evening and weekend service?
We are available to you any time, however additional charges will apply for services provided outside of GFAD’s normal business hours.

How much notice is required to fulfill my requests?
Since we offer many services, the time needed to complete your request may vary. Most services can be handled with as little as 24 hours notice, and we will do our best to provide you with services at short notice if an emergency arises. Services such as party planning travel arrangements can take much longer. Give us a call and we can get you a time estimate if you have a special request!

Do service charges include the cost of purchases?
Unless otherwise specified, our service charges do not include the cost of purchases. Funds must be provided when purchases need to be made. Please see the next question for details.

How do you handle collecting funds for purchases?
We have several methods for collecting funds for purchases. Members who make purchases on a regular basis are advised to become a VIP Member or establish a Concierge Account and fund the account for purchases in advance. Some clients chose to provide GFAD with a Credit Card that we will charge back whenever making purchases on their behalf. For clients who make purchases infrequently, your GFAD representative will make arrangements with you before making the purchase.

Do you provide or assist with services that are not on the list?
As long as the task is legal, ethical, and being done with good intentions GFAD will assist you with completing virtually any task.

Am I in GFAD’s service area? What locations does GFAD service?
GFAD’s services can be used by any client any where. For services requiring travel GFAD serves the Central Florida area and is based in Mount Dora. No additional travel charges apply to services rendered in the 32757 or 32777 zip code zone. Services requiring travel outside of this zone may incur additional mileage fees; see our Service Zones and Charges for more details.

What methods of payment does GFAD accept?
We accept cash, local personal checks, certified checks, money orders, American Express, MasterCard, Visa, and even PayPal.

Will my credit card be charged as a deposit?
No, we will only charge your credit card if we are given your permission to do so for each service rendered or purchase made on your behalf or to replenish your Concierge Account or VIP Membership account. If you do not have a Concierge Account or VIP Membership or if you do not have enough on account to cover requested services we will request permission to use your card.

How much do you charge for your services?
Our prices are dependent on the nature of the request and distance of travel required, with a one hour minimum for non VIP Members. We also offer bundles, packages and other specials call us for more details!

What happens if I don't use up my Concierge Account or VIP Member account balance in one month?
One of the best things about our VIP and Concierge Accounts are that the allocated hours accumulate each month until the end of the year if they are not used. Therefore if you have a month or two where you do not need assistance, you do not lose the errand hours and can use them in a busier month. All accumulated errand hours must be used by the end of each year.

Are materials, expenses and taxes included in your hourly rate?
No, the client is responsible for paying all additional charges incurred by GFAD on top of the hourly rate.

How will I know what additional service charges are?
We will provide receipts for all additional charges and an itemized invoice. You may request a hand written receipt at the time of service and we will provide you with your itemized invoice.

Will GFAD share my personal information?
NO! GFAD will never share or sell your information for any reason at any time. Your privacy and security are very important to GFAD.
